Epiphone Flying V V2 From 1986 1988 W/original Case

 196741107941656910 Epiphone Flying V V2 From 1986 1988 W/original Case

What I have here for sale is an Epiphone Flying V V2 from 1985- 1988 that has the following specs:

Two open-coil zebra humbuckers
Chrome hardware
Bolt-on Maple neck with skunk stripe
Rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays
Vintage-style tremolo
2 Vol. 1 Tone controls
3-way selector switch
24.75" scale
1.68" nut width
Metallic Red
Epiphone also made a version called the 1140V in 1983 and you can see a  great picture of one here:
http://www.matsumoku.org/models/epiphone/1140_fv/pics.html

You will notice that the guitar looks just like mine right down to the headstock logo with the exception of the non-locking Floyd Rose and the single pickup configuration.  The V2 actually had a slightly different logo and some even said "Epiphone by Gibson."   My  guitar seems to be a combination of an early 1986 V2 with possibly a leftover 1983 1140V neck.  There is a decent history of the Epiphone Flying V here:
http://www.epiphonewiki.com/index.php?title=Flying_V

And a history of the Epiphone headstock here:
http://epiphone.3house.com/headstock.html

I just took the guitar down to our best music store in town and had them take a look at it. He played it a little and it sounded great. He said it could use good tune up and new strings, other than that everything seemed fine. The guitar does have a few nicks on it also a scrape on the end of the head and on the two bottom's of the V.. I tried to shown that in the pictures.
